Charlotte Metropolitan Area

New shoes.
Better starts.

Silver Shepherd Foundation is building a Charlotte-area program around one practical need: helping children get new, properly fitting shoes when cost becomes a barrier.

Silver Shepherd Foundation Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity.

Our Mission

A basic need should not become a barrier.

Silver Shepherd Foundation Inc. exists to help children and underserved families in the Charlotte metropolitan area access quality footwear when finances make that difficult.

We are building a lean, community-based model that combines fundraising, local partnerships, and responsible sneaker resale to help put new shoes where they are needed most.

👟

New Shoes

New, properly fitting footwear for direct assistance.

📍

Local Impact

Focused on children and families across the Charlotte metro area.

🤝

Community Partners

Working toward trusted referral and distribution relationships.

🧡

Practical Help

Simple assistance aimed at removing a real financial barrier.

Our Program

Simple on purpose.

01

Identify Need

We work to build relationships with schools, youth organizations, and family-serving nonprofits that already know where the need exists.

02

Fund New Footwear

Donations, grants, sponsorships, and fundraising proceeds are used to help purchase new sneakers and provide footwear assistance to children in need.

03

Deliver Responsibly

We aim to work through trusted referral and distribution partners so support reaches children in a practical, respectful way.

Every pair can still have a purpose.

Donated sneakers may be resold to generate funding for Silver Shepherd programs. Gently used footwear may also be redirected through appropriate family-serving charities. When Silver Shepherd provides footwear directly to a child, our goal is new shoes or funding toward new shoes.

Partner

Know where the need is? Let’s work together.

We are looking for schools, youth-serving nonprofits, family-support organizations, and community partners that can help identify children who need footwear assistance.

We want to start with practical, manageable partnerships, learn what works, and grow from there.

About

We’re at the beginning — and building it the right way.

Silver Shepherd Foundation Inc. was established in 2026 as a North Carolina nonprofit corporation and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity.

We are starting lean, building partnerships before scale, tracking what works, and keeping the focus on tangible footwear assistance rather than unnecessary overhead.
